Being So Dam
Based on "Much To Young to Feel This Dam Old" by Garth Brooks

Woke up with the sunrise this morning,
Wondered where the first aches going to be.
Shoulder, neck or back or a pain in the giggle sack,
Growing old is just life's lottery.

People speak and I can't hear them.
Memory's plays all sorts of tricks on me.
Hair grows from my ears and nose; I can no longer reach my toes.
And I never know just when I'm going to pee.

What hair there is turns whiter and I really feel the cold,
It's just the fact of being so dam old.
My teeth are not my own now, and I fart a lot I'm told,
It's just the fact of being so dam old.

I have trouble chewing dinner,
Wear cardigans n slippers all the time.
Remember ancient history but nothing from yesterday.
Seems I'm losing friends and hero's all the time.

What hair there is turns whiter and I really feel the cold,
It's just the fact of being so dam old.
My teeth are not my own now, and I fart a lot I'm told,
It's just the fact of being so dam old.

Lord, it's just the fact of being so dam old
