Yesterday, oh I should have checked the use by date,
Now I've got more food to throw away, that should have been eaten yesterday.
Broccoli, least I think that's what this used to be,
There's old potatoes growing like a tree
Their use by date came suddenly.
Spoiled Avocado, I know it's such a waste
Jam with fizz, tastes wrong, now I long for yesterday.
Yesterday, this was a tomato not puree
Now I bite bread, but it won't give way
Mold's starting to grow so please, throw it away
The milk smells awfully wrong, now I long for yesterday
Yesterday, my fridge wasn't filled with so much decay,
Sour cream now looks like creme Brule
Should have been eaten yesterday
